PEIA Online Courses

Online PEIA 101 for State Agencies

The PEIA 101 course includes basic PEIA information for Benefit Coordinators.  A Mountaineer Flexible Benefits module is also available for those agencies participating with FBMC.

For state agencies who have a wv.gov e-mail address, you can access the online course at State Online Learning System. Those with state IDs can simply sign in at this site, look in the Course Catalog for PEIA 101, register, then click on the My Courses tab to take the course. (Note that you may need to maximize your screen in order to see the My Courses tab by the logo in the upper left.)

After you have completed the learning module, there is a short quiz. A 70% score is required to pass the quiz.

You may take the course at your own pace as the system will save your progress. When you have completed the quiz, you will know your score and will have the opportunity to look at any questions you answered incorrectly. You can also print out the results of your quiz for future reference. A certificate will be e-mailed to you upon completion with a passing score. If you do not pass the quiz with a 70% score, you can review the content and retake the quiz up to 5 times to achieve a passing score.

Once the PEIA 101 module has been successfully completed, you will receive a certificate of completion of the course.  Please forward your certificate of completion to the Benefit Coordinator Liaison at PEIA.
