Plan Year 2025 Changes Passed by the PEIA/RHBT Finance Board

​On December 7, 2023, the PEIA/RHBT Finance Board passed a 10.5% premium increase for the State Fund (state agencies, colleges, universities and county boards of education) and a 14% premium increase for the Non-State (local) Fund with no changes to benefits. These increases will be effective July 1, 2024.

There were no premium or benefit changes for Medicare Retirees, however, there will be a 10% premium increase and no benefit changes for Non-Medicare Retirees. This increase will be effective July 1, 2024, as well.

Premium rates will be available prior to Active Employee Open Enrollment for Plan Year 2025, which will begin April 2, 2024, and run through May 15, 2024.
